FAQs
What can I use Notebook for?
Notebook helps you keep farm records organised in one place. Log jobs, treatments, stock movements, farm events, and stay on top of compliance without juggling multiple apps.
Is Notebook right for my farm?
Notebook’s designed for Kiwi dairy, sheep, beef, and deer farmers who want an easier way to keep track of the day-to-day on farm.
Can I upload my farm map?
Yep. You can upload supported maps from Ravensdown or Ballance for free, or draw your own paddocks directly in Trev.
What if my map file is a bit… unique?
Every now and then we come across a curly GIS file that needs extra cleanup or manual boundary work before it can be imported properly. If that happens, we’ll let you know upfront and confirm any one-off setup cost before we get stuck in.
Can my team use Notebook too?
Too right. You can invite your team into Trev so everyone can stay on the same page with jobs, records, tasks, and farm updates.
Who owns the data in Trev?
You do. Your farm data stays yours, and you’re always in control of who can access it within your team.
Do I need to be good with technology?
If you can send a text or check the weather, you’ll be right. Trev’s designed to be simple to use whether you’re in the yards, on the tractor, or sitting at the kitchen table.
Can I upgrade later?
Yep. You can move up to Essential, Pro, or Enterprise whenever you’re ready for more reporting, integrations, and advanced farm management tools.
